Let’s prepare for 2023!

Yes it may only be the end of November but I am already thinking about 2023 and how I am going to make this year a success for my finances.

Keep reading as I show you some simple ways you can start if 2023 with a bang!

Check your budget:

Check your budget! Are you paying for any subscriptions that you haven’t used for a long time?

If the answer to this is yes then get rid of them!

My motto is, if you haven’t used something in over 1 month then get rid of it. I do this every few months and you will be surprised at how much money you can save.

Yes that Gym membership might only be £10 per month, but over 12 months that’s £120 that you could add to your savings.

Plan your sinking funds:

I have done many posts on sinking funds over the years especially on my Instagram page. I love them!

They have allowed me to save so much money over the years. Putting away small amounts of money for big expenses will help you manage your yearly payments.

For example work out how much your yearly car insurance is and divide that by how many months you want to save for and that is how much you need to save each month.

You can do this for holidays, Christmas and even birthdays!

Make a plan:

Having a plan for next year will help you stay on track. If you want to save £5,000 next year make this your plan and break it down per week.

You only need one goal to help you stay on track.

How will you plan for the new year?

Do you do something similar or plan in a different way?
